Troy is a fascinating world, where magic intervenes in everyone's daily lives. Everyone in fact has a power, small or large, more or less useful. One has the gift of freezing water into ice, the other, the power to emit colored farts... Lanfeust knows how to melt metal with just one look. In his village, he naturally became an apprentice to the blacksmith. But the touch of a sword from distant baronies reveals in him an exceptional power; he no longer has a single gift but absolute and unlimited power. Accompanied by the wise old Nicolède and his two daughters with such dissimilar characters, Lanfeust is carried away in a whirlwind of adventures during which he encounters the most incongruous, the most surprising and the most dangerous of creatures.
