Peace came back to Earth after Freezer's defeat, but there is a new danger on the horizon. A mysterious young man named Trunks arrives from the future and warns Goku and Z warriors of the imminent arrival of two powerful androids created by scientist Dr. Gero, a former member of the Red Ribbon Force who seeks revenge for Goku. The androids called 17 and 18 have wiped out almost all humanity in Trunks' future.

Songohan, Vegeta, Trunks and their friends learn that the Cyborg 20 is none other than the terrible Doctor Gero. He goes to his lab to activate two new cyborgs. Trunks, who comes from the future, warns his friends that the two cyborgs are indestructible. Vegeta and the rest of the band decide to go to the laboratory.
Vegeta, Trunks and their friends are looking for the laboratory of cruel Dr. Gero to destroy it because inside, two formidable cyborgs are in hibernation. Krilin discovers it first. Unfortunately, Dr. Gero just activated the Cyborgs 17 and 18. The fight is going to be very difficult for our friends.
Vegeta, Trunks and their friends enter the cyborgs' landmark. To their surprise, they discover a new cyborg that no one knows. The cyborgs then leave at Songoku's to eliminate it. But Vegeta cut their way and defy them. The fight will begin.
Vegeta defies the cyborgs. It is a real fight of titans that engages between him and C.18. But the cyborg is much faster and Vegeta is wounded. Vegeta's son and his friends arrive to save him, but he refuses their help and continues the fight against C.18. He has fun in hurting him in his self-esteem by telling him that he cannot fight.
Vegeta is fighting the Cyborg 17, but the robot quickly takes the advantage and easily gets rid of our super warrior. All then try to take over Vegeta, but in vain. Meanwhile, Krilin learns that the three cyborgs were designed with the sole aim of destroying Songoku.
Vegeta, Little Heart, Songohan and their friends are unable to beat the cyborgs. To their surprise, the three robots stop fighting and run to the end of Songoku. Little Heart then decides to go to the Almighty so that both will form one more. They will form a super warrior Namek capable of standing up to the cyborgs.
Little Heart asks the Almighty to merge with him to make one more. Meanwhile, the three cyborgs go to Songoku. Krilin and Trunks arrive before the cyborgs and decide to evacuate Songoku to a safer place.
Krilin, Songohan and Trunks escort Songoku, who is still suffering, to a safe place, safe from the three cyborgs. Meanwhile, Vegeta is in doubt after his defeat against the cyborgs. After his long reflection, he feels stronger and is ready to resume the fighting.
