NOFX is an American punk rock band formed in Los Angeles in the early 1980s around Fat Mike, Eric Melvin and Erik Sandin. A major force in skate punk and melodic punk, the band became known for its fast, sarcastic and highly energetic sound, blending dark humor, social criticism, politics and self-deprecation. With albums such as Punk in Drublic, So Long and Thanks for All the Shoes and The War on Errorism, NOFX became one of the most influential bands in the American independent punk scene.
