After spending several years in a wheelchair following an attack by the Joker, Barbara Gordon regains the use of her legs and decides to become Batgirl once again. Returning to the streets of Gotham, she must learn to trust her body again while dealing with the trauma left by her past. Between new criminals, threats connected to her family, and enemies who exploit her fears, Barbara tries to reclaim her place among the city’s heroes.
