Rebelled by the fate reserved for them, Baba suddenly left the Black Falcon to live with fleeing slaves. Peet le Bordelais then offered Barbe-Rouge an abject market: to help her find the island where Baba had gone, and to capture the Negmarons who were there. In exchange, he freed Eric's daughter and Concha, whom he had just kidnapped. Obliged to accept, Barbe-Rouge and Eric played a particularly risky double-game... A story in two volumes on triangular trading grounds, narrated with talent by Jean-Charles Kraehn and drawn with virtuosity by Stefano Carloni.
