Wolfmother is an Australian rock band formed in Sydney in the early 2000s around singer and guitarist Andrew Stockdale. Their music draws heavily from the hard rock, psychedelic rock and blues rock of the 1960s and 1970s, with powerful riffs, high-pitched vocals and arrangements strongly shaped by a vintage aesthetic. With albums such as Wolfmother, Cosmic Egg and Victorious, the band became one of the leading acts of the Australian hard-rock revival.
