Acnologia returns to hunt the Dragon Slayers, showing that he devours all magic. Wendy and her companions are saved by Blue Pegasus and Anna Heartfilia (Lucy's ancestor, former master of the Dragon Slayers). Plan: imprison Acnologia in the space between dimensions (a rift created by Eclipse to transport the Dragon Slayers to the present era). Zeref closes the space to combine with Fairy Heart and open Neo Eclipse (a portal to a new timeline where Acnologia would not exist), which would destroy the current timeline. Mavis gets close to Zeref, and he absorbs Fairy Heart. Lucy, Gray, and Happy modify the book of E.N.D. to make Natsu human (his survival independent of Zeref). Lucy takes the risk. Natsu defeats Zeref. The space reopens. Ichiya and Anna rush Acnologia into the space with the Christina, defeating him.
