Peter Parker is a teenager from New York whose life changes after he is bitten by a genetically modified spider during a science visit. He develops extraordinary abilities that he initially uses without fully understanding the responsibilities they involve. After a personal tragedy, Peter decides to become Spider-Man and tries to protect others while continuing his life as a high school student.
